        Beach Resorts in Batangas Philippines  is a lovely vacation places in Luzon's Southern Tagalog region, located south of Manila/NCR. Here you will find Anilao (Mabini) which is famous for its dive sites, Taal Lake and Volcano - said to be the lake within the lake, old churches and houses dating back to the Spanish times in Taal, Calaca and Batangas City, and the Batangas International and Container Port. There are also several island tourist destinations, namely: Tingloy, Verde Island, Ligpo Island, Sombrero Island, and Fortune Island. There are also Industrial Parks and various manufacturing industries dotting the shoreline.

Several resorts are in operation in different barangays  and the town is starting to be known for these resorts. Shercon Resort, the first one which ventured in this line of business, is located in  San Sebastian. Subsequently, El Madero in Barangay II and Galilee Place started operation. Very recently, Villa Virginia in  barangay Manggahan was also inaugurated and opened. As of this writing, another resort is being developed in the vicinity of the boundary between Barangay IV and Calingatan.

Taal Beach Resorts

       If you are planning to go to Batangas and make a Taal Batangas Tour, I think I could help you. There are many good places to visit in Taal Batangas, Taal Batangas is known for having lots ofAncestral Pre Hispanic Houses. One of which is Don Leon Apacible Ancestral House and Agoncillo Ancestral House ( Maker of Philippine Flag ) and many more.

     Taal Batangas is also known for different beach resorts located in Butong, Taal Batangas ( One of Taal Batangas Baranggay which is 10 minutes drive from Taal Town Proper ). I have some pictures taken at Little Bridge Resort when we stayed for a 2 days vacation with my colleagues from Manila.

There are also Beach resorts in a nearby town called Lemery Batangas, particularly in Nonong Casto place.

If you are looking for some place to stay I would probably recommend staying in old houses turned to Hotel in Taal Town or you could rent a Cabana or Cottages in beach resorts and just ride a tricycle going to Taal Town. Beach resorts ( in Butong and not in Nonong Casto ) are very near to Taal Town.

You could also go to places where they actually make ” Burda ” or ” Barong Tagalog Embroidery shops ” some shops could show you how they are actually doing those things.

Taal Batangas is also know for having ” Bente Nuebe ” or ” Balisong ” a knife made of steel with really fascinating handle. It could be found at Baranngay Balisong which could be reached thru Tricycle or Jeep bound to Batangas City if you are in Taal Town. Anyway you could ask local on how to reach Brgy Balisong.

You may also want to taste the ” Suman ” and ” Panutsa ” a native delicacy that could be found in Taal. Look for Addie and Coring Stall

You should not also miss visiting Basilica of Taal Batangas which is one of the oldest churches in the Philippines. I will post some pictures and details about Basilica of Taal Batangas Later.

And ofcourse you should not miss tasting a very delicious Tapang Taal and Longanisang Taal. The resort was only meant to be a hide away for a family of 13 children and hence the many rooms and a large pavilion. Guests normally are surprised that the cottages could be easily filled with just the immediate family alone. It offers a 5 types of rooms, namely Standard, Deluxe, Junior Premier, Premier and the Premier Loft. La Luz Standard Room There is 1 standard room is about 26 square meters in size, which includes its own private bathroom and balcony. The bedroom is 16 square meters and has 2 beds that are 42 inches wide. The bed is a semi-double (a single is 36 inches wide and a double is 48 inches wide).     La Luz Deluxe Room There are only 2 deluxe rooms. Each room is about 30 square meters, which includes its own private bathroom and balcony. The deluxe rooms are slightly bigger than our standard rooms by 4 square meters. Furthermore, the deluxe rooms have 3 beds (each is 42 inches wide we call semi-double). La Luz Junior Premier There are a total of 2 Junior Premier rooms. The rooms are about 21 square meters and have its own toilet and bath. The room is cooled by a Kolin BMW series air-conditioner. This room is furnished with one queen size bed (60 inches in width) .     Premier Room There are a total of 10 premier rooms and each is about 35 square meters. It has a 3 way bathroom, meaning that the toilet is separate from the shower and sink. Each premier room is furnished with 3 beds.
